Who This Is For

Sound familiar?

You want the most affordable option

Conventional dentures are the lowest-cost way to replace a full smile, and there's no surgery involved. If budget is the deciding factor, this is the honest starting point, and we'll tell you exactly what it costs in writing.

Implants aren't an option right now

Whether it's candidacy or timing, dentures restore your smile without surgery. And if you decide you want more stability later, adding implants can turn a lower denture into a snap-in that stays put.

Your current denture is worn or broken

Loose fit, sore spots, cracks: you don't have to live with any of it. We handle relines, adjustments, and repairs so your denture fits and functions the way it should.

Your Options

Three kinds of dentures. One honest conversation.

Dr. Thompson will tell you which fits your mouth, your budget, and your timeline at your free consultation.

Full dentures

Replace all the teeth in your upper arch, lower arch, or both. Uppers seal by natural suction against the roof of your mouth. Lowers tend to float, which is why we often recommend pairing them with implants.

Partial dentures

Replace some missing teeth in an arch while keeping the healthy ones you have. Partials attach to your surrounding natural teeth and fill the gaps without surgery.

Immediate dentures

Placed the same day your natural teeth are removed, so you never go without teeth. They act like a bandage over the extraction sites while you heal, with impressions taken beforehand.

How It Works

Teeth out. Teeth in.

The immediate denture path, step by step. Dr. Thompson oversees every fit and refinement along the way.

Free Consultation

An exam with Dr. Thompson and an honest conversation about full, partial, and immediate options. You leave with a written plan and your exact price, in writing, before you decide anything.

2

Impressions First

Impressions are taken while your natural teeth are still in place, and your denture is crafted from them so it is ready for the day you need it.

3

Teeth Out, Denture In

Extractions and your immediate denture happen the same day. The denture acts as a bandage that helps control swelling and bleeding. Oral conscious sedation is available; you'll need a driver.

4

Healing and Refinement

As your gums heal and change shape over about 6 months, soft liners keep the fit comfortable, finishing with a permanent hard reline. Adjustments are free for 6 months after your final fit.

Questions

Dentures, answered.

What are immediate dentures?

Immediate dentures are placed the same day your natural teeth are removed, so you never walk around without teeth. They also act like a bandage over the extraction sites, helping control swelling and bleeding. Impressions are taken beforehand, while your natural teeth are still in place.

Will my dentures look fake?

Today's dentures are custom-designed to fit your face and look natural. Your doctor oversees fit and refinements so your denture works with your smile, not against it.

Why does my lower denture feel loose?

That's the honest weakness of lower dentures: uppers seal by suction against the roof of your mouth, but lowers tend to float. It's why we strongly encourage pairing a lower denture with implants. Two to four implants turn a floating lower into a snap-in denture that stays put.

How do I take care of my dentures?

Clean them daily with antibacterial hand soap and a soft-bristled or denture brush, and store them in water when you're not wearing them. Never boil them; heat can warp them beyond repair. We also recommend removing them at night to rest your gums and extend the denture's life.

Is there a charge for adjustments?

Adjustments are free for the first 6 months after you receive your final teeth or your permanent hard reline. After that, a small fee applies. Every new denture needs an adjustment or two; it's a normal part of getting the fit right.

Can my dentures be repaired if they break?

Usually, yes. Damaged acrylic dentures are often repairable. Your office will explain the timeline for your repair or reline at your visit.
