Single Tooth Dental Implants. Replace The Tooth, Keep The Rest.
A dental implant replaces a missing tooth with a fixed, permanent one: a titanium post, an abutment, and a crown that works like your own. No grinding down healthy neighbors. Dr. Thompson handles everything, and one written price covers all three parts.

Sound familiar?
You're missing one tooth
A single gap changes your bite, your confidence, and over time your jawbone, which starts to shrink where the tooth used to be. An implant fills the gap permanently and keeps the bone stimulated, so the problem stops getting worse.
You're missing a few in a row
You don't need an implant for every gap. An implant bridge replaces three teeth using just two implants, which costs less than three individual implants and still gives you fixed, permanent teeth.
You don't want healthy teeth sacrificed
A traditional bridge means grinding down the healthy teeth on either side of the gap. An implant stands on its own: your neighboring teeth stay untouched, and you brush and floss it like the tooth it replaced.

Implant Placement
The titanium post goes into your jaw. Oral conscious sedation is available if you want it; you'll need a driver. Most patients return to work the same day or the next.
Integration
The implant fuses with your jawbone for about 4 months. We deliberately keep chewing forces off it during this window, because that's what protects its long-term success. Then your gums are shaped for about 2 weeks.
Your Crown
Your custom crown or bridge is crafted over 3 to 4 weeks and attached. It's fixed, it's permanent, and you care for it like the tooth it replaced: brush, floss, done.

Dental implants, answered.
Do I need an implant for every missing tooth?
No. If you're missing several teeth in a row, an implant bridge can replace three teeth using just two implants, which costs less than placing three individual implants. Dr. Thompson will tell you which approach fits your case at your free consultation.
What's included in the price?
A single tooth implant price includes all three parts: the implant post, the abutment, and the crown. An implant bridge price includes two posts, two abutments, and a three-unit bridge. Extractions and bone grafting are not included; if you need either, it goes in your written quote up front, not on a surprise bill later.
How long does the process take?
Typically 5 to 6 months start to finish. The implant fuses with your jawbone for about 4 months, your gums are shaped for about 2 weeks, and your custom crown takes another 3 to 4 weeks to make. Most patients return to work the same day or the next day after placement.
Can you put a temporary crown on the implant right away?
No, and that's deliberate. A freshly placed implant needs to fuse with the bone undisturbed, and putting chewing force on it too early risks failure. We protect your investment by letting it heal properly first.
Do you offer metal-free zirconia implants?
No. We use titanium implants exclusively, the same metal used in knee and hip replacements, with a success rate above 95 percent and decades of track record. Zirconia implants are newer with a much shorter history, and we're not willing to experiment with your mouth.
Do you offer warranties?
Yes. If an implant fails within the first year, we replace it at no cost to you.
